Henniker Road Media is a multimedia production and entertainment company that has two primary divisions. First, The Entertainment Division specializes in producing innovative and scripted and unscripted comedies with a focus on creative storytelling and cost-effective production methods. We aim to produce films and documentaries that break from the traditional Hollywood mold and appeal to niche audiences. With a production that focuses on high quality films produced on a microbudget, we prioritize innovative techniques and efficient use of resources to tell engaging stories across multiple platforms.

 

Second, we also offer our post-production division, Henniker Road PostWorks.  We understand the importance of crafting content that aligns with our clients' unique requirements and objectives.

Jason Peck

CEO, Founder, Producer

Jason Peck is a British-American actor, comedian, writer, and filmmaker based in Chicago. He has performed professionally since the late 90s, touring the UK and mainland Europe. When he lived in London, Jason wrote and performed sketches for Newsrevue, the World’s longest running satirical sketch comedy show, and also contributed material for the topical sketch show, The Treason Show. His comedy stylings include stand-up, sketch, improv, and theatrical productions.

Jason has been an MC, public speaker, and speechwriter since 2006. He came 2nd in the 2011 Toastmasters International Humorous Speech Contest.

 

Jason has written and performed in numerous Chicago storefront theatre productions. In 2017, his original British pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk was commissioned and produced by The Gorilla Tango Theatre. 

He wrote, acted in, and produced two solo shows; Please Stop Trying to Kill Me, Dad which went to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Shakespeare’s Fools, which debuted at The Odyssey Arts Festival at The Stevenson High School.

Melissa Albertario

COO, Film Director, and Story Editor

Melissa is a professional independent Film and Theatre Producer and Director. As the Founding Artistic Director of Focal Point Theatre Company, she produced and directed the critically-acclaimed Midwest premiere of Patrick Marber's play After Miss Julie. As Literary Manager and Resident Director for 20% Theatre Company, she collaborated across multiple seasons, which included producing her world-premiere adaptation of Electra & Orestes in 2011. Early in her career, she was honored with the Curator's Choice Award for directing Prometheus Bound at the Around the Coyote Festival. Most recently, Melissa released her first feature film, Falling For You.

Melissa is passionate about Theatre in Education, and she visits local schools and universities as a guest artist, lecturer, and director.

With over two decades of professional experience in both the Financial Services and Performing Arts industries, in 2018, Melissa founded arts advocacy Smartistry as an intersection between these two worlds.
